Accessibility Statement
Orbital Trade Research is built so that educational content is usable by as many people as possible, on any device and with assistive technology.
What we implement
- Semantic HTML with a single H1 per page and a logical heading hierarchy.
- Text and interface colours chosen to maintain readable contrast in both dark and light themes.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on each page.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative elements hidden from assistive technology.
- Form controls with associated labels, including the educational calculator.
- Responsive layout and typography that remain legible when zoomed or viewed on small screens.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are suppressed when your system requests it.
Theme choice
Both the dark and light themes are designed to meet readable contrast levels. Your preference is remembered in your browser so you do not have to reselect it on each visit.
Known limitations
Data-dense elements such as comparison tables and the price ticker can be harder to scan at very small widths. Tables include descriptive captions and header cells so screen readers can announce structure, and the ticker is marked as a labelled region containing illustrative sample values rather than essential information.
Standards
We aim to align with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing process rather than a fixed milestone, and issues are addressed as they are identified.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this site, please tell us which page you were using, what you were trying to do, and which browser or assistive technology you use. We will investigate and respond.
